Kampong Chhnang, The Port of Pottery

Kampong Chhnang is a central and a heart of Cambodia based on location and bordering with other province surrounding. Kampong Chhnang mean “The Port of the Pottery” Its bordering Kampong Thom to the North, Kampong Cham to the East, Kampong Speu to the South and Pursat to the West.

Drive direct through from Phnom Penh city about 91 kilometers ,just spend the time only 2 and half hours. Kampong Chhnang becomes an attractive destination by pottery village and its spectacular rice paddy fields or plantations.

Beside Pottery village, you can take a time to visit Phnom Neang Kong Rei (Kong Rei mountain) as the beautiful sleeping lady along the Tonle Sap river.

During your trip to Kampong Chhnang province, take boat to view floating village is the best option for you, try to figure out how local people use their life one river and fishing.
